LaundryReview works only if contributions are honest and genuine. These guidelines apply to every review, post and reply.

Write from real experience

Share your own first-hand experience with a service. Be specific and factual about what happened.

What’s not allowed

• Fake, paid, or incentivised contributions, or posing as a customer of your own or a rival business;
• Other people’s personal information (names, numbers, addresses);
• Hate speech, harassment, threats, or impersonation;
• Stating disputed claims as established fact - frame criticism as your own opinion/experience;
• Spam, advertising, or links unrelated to your experience.

Opinion vs. fact

Opinions ("I found the service slow") are welcome. Avoid asserting specific factual allegations you can’t support as if they were proven.

How moderation works

Contributions may be reviewed before they appear, and we may decline or remove content that breaches these guidelines or the law. We apply the same standards to everyone, including content about businesses we may be connected to.

Reporting

Use the report option on a post, or our Contact form, to flag content. We aim to acknowledge reports within 24 hours.

For businesses

Businesses are welcome to respond to reviews about them. Flagging genuine criticism that doesn’t breach these guidelines, simply because it is negative, is not a valid reason for removal.
